Azkals lose but advance, thanks to aggregrate 3-2 lead

The Azkals lost to Mongolia, 1-2 in their second game on March 15 in Ulan Bator City but qualified to the next round with an aggregate 3-2 lead, thanks to their 2-0 victory in Bacolod City last month.

James Younghusband scored in the 3rd minute but the Blue Wolves equalized it in the 22nd minute courtesy of Donorov Lumbengarav and took the lead after a goal by Bayasglan in the 33rd minute.

The Filipinonos will play Myanmar on March 21 at the start of the group stage of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup.
