The Davao Football Association in cooperation with the Davao City Sports Development Division Office held the 7 a-side Kadayawan Football Tournament in Mintal, Davao City on 20 August 2011. Participants are from the third congressional district (Calinan, Tacunan, Bago Oshiro, Mintal, Los Amigos, etc)  and nearby areas. Winners received medals and trophies.

Supporting the tournament are Barangay Mintal through Bgy Captain Ramon Bargamento II & Kagawad Benedict Adan, Congressman Isidro T. Ungab, and Mintal Elementary School. The games are organized by the UP Mindanao CWTS Class.
